What's inside the platform.

Six modules, one integrated platform. Each one matches the capability profile the major industry players ship, on economics community institutions can actually run.

01

Price Efficiency

Genesis consolidates the ledger, payments, origination, and compliance reporting a community bank runs on into one platform under one contract. That removes the integration fees, the version-mismatch problems, and the vendor-to-vendor finger pointing that accumulate when those four functions sit with four different providers.

The result is a lower total cost of ownership and a materially smaller vendor management burden. Pricing is competitive with the major providers, and the economics are predictable: they track the bank's agreed platform scope and account volumes rather than per-seat licensing.

  • One accountable platform partner, not a stack of disconnected vendors
  • Lower total cost of ownership across ledger, payments, origination, compliance
  • Predictable economics tied to the bank's agreed platform scope and account/contract volumes, not seats

Genesis Core Banking System

The Genesis core was built for Tier-1 institutions and is now configured for community banks. It posts in real time, exposes every entity through an open API, and produces the compliance reporting a community bank is examined on.

The interface is built for the people who actually sit in front of it. Tellers, lenders, and back office staff complete a transaction in a few keystrokes rather than a few screens. The system carries the range community banks are strongest in, from SME lending to personal deposit relationships, and it is configured to the institution without breaking the upgrade path.

  • Real-time ledger, posted at transaction time rather than in an overnight batch
  • Event-driven architecture, so reconciliation is continuous rather than end-of-day
  • Open API access to every entity in the system
  • ACH, wire, and card processing through certified partner connectivity, with instant payment rails on the roadmap
03

Customizable Modules

From lending to payments, onboarding, reporting, and compliance outputs, Genesis modules are designed to be modular, API-first, and operationally practical for community banks. Managed cloud is the preferred Genesis operating model. For institutions with specific self-processing, security, or infrastructure requirements, Genesis can evaluate dedicated, hybrid, or bank-hosted/on-prem deployment patterns, subject to technical validation, security review, and final support constraints.

  • Managed cloud as the preferred baseline operating model.
  • Dedicated/private, hybrid, or bank-hosted deployment paths where justified by the bank's operating model and technically supportable.
  • Logical separation of bank data, configuration, and operating controls.
  • Bank-specific configuration without losing the ability to maintain an upgradeable platform.
  • Approved local extensions through APIs, adapters, and integration patterns.
  • Genesis-led integration, support coordination, and operational governance.

Module Catalogue

Genesis maintains a catalogue of pre-configured modules and a governed integration framework for the capabilities that sit next to the core. Pre-configuration is what shortens the work: a module arrives with reference configuration already built and tested, so implementation starts from a working baseline rather than a blank one.

Genesis provides a curated module catalogue and integration framework for core-adjacent capabilities such as loan origination, payments, onboarding, reporting, compliance outputs, and customer workflows. Some capabilities are Genesis-built; others may be delivered through approved partner lanes. The difference is that Genesis governs the integration pattern, coordinates support, and presents the bank with a single accountable operating model.

What the catalogue gives the bank

  • Pre-configured reference builds, so loan origination, payments, compliance reporting, and onboarding start from a tested baseline instead of a blank configuration.
  • One integration pattern, governed by Genesis across every module, whether the module is Genesis-built or delivered through an approved partner lane.
  • Configuration to the institution, fitted to the bank's own products, disclosures, and regulatory reporting as part of the engagement.
  • One support path, so the bank raises an issue once rather than tracing it between vendors.

The catalogue and the scope of each module are shared on request. Contact us for the current list.

05

Technology Integration

Genesis uses an API-first managed platform architecture that reduces the complexity traditionally associated with core-system modernization while preserving the controls, workflow discipline, and operating accountability a community bank requires.

That architecture is what lets a community bank move at the speed its market now expects. Adding a product, connecting a digital channel, or answering a competitor's offering becomes a configuration and integration exercise rather than a multi-year project sitting behind a vendor queue. The bank keeps its underwriting judgment and its local relationships, and stops being limited by what its core will allow.

06

One Operating Relationship

A community bank running on the large providers typically holds contracts with several vendors to cover everything the institution depends on: the core, digital banking, origination, item processing, compliance reporting. Each relationship carries its own contract, renewal cycle, integration fee schedule, and support desk, and the bank absorbs the work of holding them together.

Genesis consolidates that into one platform and one operating relationship. Core processing, customer data, compliance outputs, and analytics sit in one integrated package, configured to the institution rather than the other way round. The bank gets the capability set it needs without carrying the vendor management overhead of assembling it from four or five sources.

The practical effect is a shorter path from deciding to offer something to actually offering it.
